Terms
Pre-launch terms
These terms describe the intended limits of Listing SEO Auditor. Public access is not yet available, and final customer terms will be presented before beta use.
Last updated: August 12, 20261. Pre-release status
Listing SEO Auditor is currently a private development project. This website provides information for platform review and does not offer a live audit service, subscription, or public account.
2. The service
The service analyzes one public Etsy listing the seller confirms they own, manage, or are otherwise authorized to audit. It reads that listing through the official Etsy Open API and considers one buyer query the seller supplies. It produces a listing-readiness report, prioritized observations, and evidence-grounded copy suggestions. It does not make changes to Etsy listings, and it does not act on a seller's Etsy account.
3. No marketplace outcome guarantee
Scores and recommendations are informational. They do not predict or guarantee Etsy search rank, impressions, sales, conversion rate, revenue, or profit. Marketplace results can vary by time, location, personalization, competition, product quality, price, and factors the service cannot observe.
4. Evidence limitations
Public views, favourites, reviews, and listing fields are incomplete proxies. They are not keyword search volume or verified sales. Missing information is reported as not measured rather than assumed absent.
The Etsy Open API does not expose search ranking or keyword search volume, and its keyword endpoint returns a different result set than Etsy search. Version 1 therefore reports no rank, no search-results position, and no page-one competitor set, and it does not estimate them.
5. Acceptable use
Future users will be required to:
- Confirm they own, manage, or are otherwise authorized to audit every listing and query they submit.
- Review all recommendations before using them.
- Comply with Etsy policies and applicable intellectual-property laws.
- Keep any customer-supplied API key secure.
- Not use the service to copy another seller's protected creative work.
6. Availability and changes
The Etsy Open API, third-party AI providers, and Apify infrastructure can change, impose limits, or become unavailable. An audit may return a partial result when required evidence cannot be measured. Features and these terms may change before public release, and Etsy may change what its API exposes at any time.
7. Etsy relationship and trademarks
The term “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
Listing SEO Auditor is independently developed and is not sponsored, endorsed, affiliated with, or certified by Etsy, Inc. It is not an Etsy product and does not act on Etsy's behalf. Etsy's name, logo, and other marks belong to Etsy, Inc. and are used here only to describe what the service reads. Etsy member content remains subject to the rights of its respective owners and Etsy's applicable terms.
8. Etsy API compliance
The service obtains Etsy data exclusively through the official Etsy Open API, under Etsy's API Terms of Use. It does not screen-scrape Etsy, crawl Etsy web pages, or otherwise sidestep the API to retrieve or post Etsy data. It does not request or use Etsy account credentials.
Etsy content is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to produce a requested audit and is never resold or redistributed as a dataset. In line with Etsy's caching limits, Etsy listing content is not displayed more than six hours after it was retrieved, and other Etsy content not more than twenty-four hours: a stored report withholds its Etsy-derived fields past that window and offers a re-run instead. Stored reports embed no Etsy images.
Content retrieved from the Etsy API for the audited listing is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the wording of recommendations, at the seller's request. Routing is configured so that content is not used to train the provider's models. This is described in full on the privacy page, and the deterministic findings are available without any AI processing.
Etsy's API Terms of Use govern in the event of any conflict with these terms.
9. No warranty
DISCLAIMER: THIS APPLICATION IS SOLELY PROVIDED BY FORTUNADIGITAS3D (THE “APPLICATION DEVELOPER”). YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ETSY, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER, DO NOT PROVIDE THE APPLICATION SERVICE, AND MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE APPLICATION OR DATA ACCESSED THROUGH IT.
The service and its reports are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. No warranty is given that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any report is complete or correct.
Etsy, Inc. provides no warranty for this service and bears no responsibility for it. Any recommendation is the seller's to review, accept, or reject; the seller remains solely responsible for the content of their own listings and for their compliance with Etsy's policies.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost sales, lost profits, lost rankings, or lost data, arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Acceptance
These pre-launch terms are informational; there is no public service to accept them for yet. Before any beta or paid use, the final terms and privacy policy will be presented for active acceptance—a recorded, affirmative agreement taken before the first audit runs, not a notice at the bottom of a page. Use will not be permitted without it, and a material change will require acceptance again.
12. Contact
Questions about these planned terms can be sent to digitasfortuna@gmail.com.
